Some excellent talent there but the same issue remains: no halves. Really need Austin to improve his kicking and passing games.

I always hear QLD going on about how great their juniors are but they don't really stand out apart from Milford. We have been dominant in the under 20's and have some real guns emerging. Our future is good if you ask me.

Pretty strong squad. Few omitted I thought would be there. Not saying they should be but I thought rein and Croker would be there. I am surprised not Mansour either

It's better this way. In the past it's been pretty much anyone under 25 who was elidgable for nsw, they used to have guys who hadn't even played first grade!!

This is more of an achievement now and shows that they are in serious consideration for a spot.

LOL! So Vaughan and Sezer are completely out of contention after being dropped from the year before's list??

These squad's are stupid as i can guarantee that a few players not on the list will debut in SOO and half of the list wont make city v country.

Klemmer and Jackson made their debuts this year
Docker has retired hasn't he
Reynolds, walker, johnston, moylan, peats, james, wighton are in both squads
Sezer, Vaughan, Finucane, cartwright are unlucky to miss out, but it seems that the new squad are the next in line at this stage, these 4 are probably still in contention.
As for the rest
Turner needs to get his career back on track after a big injury in 2015
Mcinnes has yet to cement a first grade spot
Sironen, brooks, keary, mansour, mata'utia and moeroa all seemed to be on the up at the start of 2015 but all took a backwards steps in 2015
