Gus on his podcast says Queensland's only chance is to wrestle, hold down, slow NSW down as much as they can, and hope the ref lets them do it. Even if all that happens, I don't see how they can hold the NSW backline.

It has been somewhat of a disruptive preparation for the Maroons in the last 48 hours, can’t help but feel it will galvanise them somehow and given Suncorp is a fortress for them I’m expecting a far different game two.

I think our forwards just have to match them up front and our backs should get the job done, but history shows you simply can’t write the Maroons off.

QLD deserving losers. Lacking heart this year and it showed.

Very quiet night for the halves. Tedesco basically did the work and had a blinder. Latrell and Tommy were brilliant. In the forwards it was fairly one sided.

@mxlegend99, my pre prediction can to fruition. On another note, Liau, Cleary, To'o, Martin, and Yeo, had blinders. So much for Welsh targeting Liau.

All Panthers played well without any standouts.

Yeo had a great try saver and linked well in the middle.

To'o had a strange game. Had the yips under the high ball but defended brilliantly and ran with gusto. Probably should have positioned his body better for the dropped bomb with no one near him.

Was wondering the same thing. His involvement in the game really dropped off after that injury. Hopefully nothing too serious. He might not back up against the eels

The Titans defence is very poor yet Qld pick three of their forwards, Fifita, Fotieaka and Tino. Enough said!!
