The Chairman of the New South Wales Rugby League, Mr Colin Love, is pleased to announce the following players have been selected to represent NSW in the annual NSW Residents V QLD Residents match which will be played before Game 3 of the Harvey Norman State Origin Series on Wednesday 6th July 2005 at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.

Whingeing about the token Jim Beam Cup and CRL selections aside, congratulations to Nathan Merritt, Vince Mellars and James Stosic for their selection. I heard that Kevin Kingston is also on standby.
Good to see the Jets being rewarded for their campaign. The selection is not only a testament to this year's effort, but of all the work the club has put in since 2000.
