DENVER, Aug. 18 -- The Denver Nuggets have signed rookie free agent center Luke Schenscher to a contract, team General Manager Kiki Vandeweghe announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Schenscher, 7-1, 255, averaged 7.3 ppg and 5.4 rpg over his four-year career at Georgia Tech and ranks fifth all-time in school history with 157 blocked shots. He averaged 10.1 ppg and 7.3 rpg last year as a senior. As a junior, he helped lead the Yellow Jackets to the 2004 NCAA title game and averaged 14.0 ppg and 11.5 rpg at the Final Four.
Schenscher played with Denver at the Reebok Vegas Summer League in July, starting all six games and averaging 5.0 ppg and 2.7 rpg in 14.7 minutes.

Its a possibility two Aussies in the NBA this season. But I think he'll be cut right before the season starts, unless he plays awesome in training camp and pre-season.
