Can someone explain to me the set-up of NWA???

It looks huge, and it all seems so complicated as to how it works. I know TNA is part of it and that WCW used to be part of it, but how does that all work? Is TNA like RAW or something where it has exclusive belts (NWA world championship etc.) and other promotions such as New Japan (Who I think are also part of NWA) like smackdown with exclusive belts? Just not as closely affiliated as RAW and Smackdown?

I think its like the WWE, where McMahon owns tonnes of territory, ie. Stampede Wrestling in Canada, and all of the best talent ends up coming thru the ranks until they reach Raw and Smackdown.

TNA would be their main show, and they'd own territories all over the place.

I've heard a lot of talk that TNA may have only as many as three months left in it. Looks like another victim of a long term 'fight' with WWE.

despite WWE's recent drop in ratings, TNA was never even close to WWE. they fell for the same tricks wcw did.

Oh, I know, but at least they offered disgruntled wrestlers an alternative place to go with a decent following.

TNA are failing cause there PPV buy rates are low and they have some real bad TV coverage..

NWA, was/is a smaller Federation that was joined by hundreds of small independent wrestling companies.
