Why bother?

its going to be another 60-0 thrashing.

Kiwi's missing all their stars through injury.... as usual.

will be picked tonight via tele conference and released later this week.

must be giving the ESL clubs a chance to reconsider...

the only player i can c being released in thomas L, i'd be extremely suprised if webb was released.

btw do u reckon webster or paul W would have a chance if they were up for selection?

If it's going to be a 50+ thrashing and everyone here is expecting it, why don't we stop playing NZ and put some much needed change in the mid season Test...

Let's play PNG or Samoa or Tonga or France or England or Wales ect etc....

thats not the answer...

the answer is to have an official worldwide test weekend...

have it around the 2nd week in may, that would suit the aussies & kiwis who normally play each other then and it fits in with ESL with it being right after millennium magic..

and only a country's team doctor can deem if a player is'nt fit for the test, which would get rid of the club doctors making the call..

you could also add a 2nd international break in july by moving the 3rd origin game to a saturday so everyone apart from australia can play international (australia don't need the practice...everyone else does...lol )

if anyone at the NZRL had any sense they'd be coming up with these idea

its a great idea spud, i have been calling for a mid season break for ages. but its not up the nzrl. the nzrl have zero power in world rugby league unfortunately. the rlif is dominated by the arl who only look out for themselves, and the rfl to an extent. nz have been getting sh*t on for years. they need to start standing up for themselves.

ray haffenden thought so :D

Thank you for your suggestions.NZRL do not intend to sit on our hands and will consider any proposition provided it is viable and profitable. The All Golds conceprt was a step in the right direction and we intend to look outside the square to secure a future for the game in New Zealand. We are currently interviewing for three independent directors for our board and will take on a CEO. The skills we are looking for from these people will also enhance our objective of being action motivated with new ideas such as yours. Keep in touch.
