yeh, im a Sione fan as well, very dangerous on the fringes. The selectors would feel he brings a bad vibe to the team. Didnt he have a fight with Toopi and he has well documented drinking problems.

What a pity the Kiwi's lost Lautiti his really starting to fill his potential.

Add Inu, Benji and Manu to this squad and i think the Kiwi's would be pretty hard to beat.
Sione would find it really hard to play for NZ again. he turned down the Kiwi jersey a couple of years ago to play in the ESL for Hull i think.

Bluey vowed he would never pick him as long as he was coach and Kearney might do the same thing.

Lautiiti would have been awesome in a kiwi jersey again, not sure how onld he is, but if his mid-late 20's i reckon he'd still have a future with them, i saw him in all golds match and he was a star, big loss that he went to samoa.

Really, i thought he had off field drama's to get sorted out then he'd may be in with a shot, but once he got them he never got back to his best, bit like Tevita Leo-Latu (altho can some1 comment on his form) cause he was a kiwi b4, then had off field problems, then left for UK.

missed one game with injury, and then had a death in the family to attend in Samoa, but the story was the injury was one week at worst. Unless it's worse than the club are saying, which I guess is possible.
On a form level, i'd have thought he was a given

If selecting players from the UK, why wouldnt they have tried to bring back someone like Jake Webster who has apparently been going great for Hull KR. Even Hape or Whaturia? One thing that the Kiwis seem to do is continually pick young guys and it has been shown over the last year that this is not going to work for them. I any great side you need a blend of youth, experience and seasoned players. When I talk of seasoned players I dont mean 30+ years of age, I mean players that have played 70-150 NRL games and played rep level before. The Kiwis lose players all the time to the UK Super League, but surely they can not think that at this stage of their careers that Setimata Sa is a better player than Webster, Hape or Whatuira?

I'd have to disagree.
Sa is young and has a ton of potental. This will be the first of many tests he'll play.
Whatuira is too old, webster isnt exceptional although i'd agree about Hape, perfect bench player can play in the backs or forwards he'd be in my full strenght squad. So would J.Cayless who they arnt flying out either.

From whispers i have heard, Lima has a black mark beside his name for an off field incident is the chances of him being picked again are slim

Isn't Lima a devout christian?

What could he have possibly done to warrant a black mark next to his name?

Lima should have a black mark next to his name for his truly shocking performance for NZ v Oz last year. Embarrassing.

If Evarn Tuimavave puts in a few more performances like he did today vs Canberra (17 hit-ups, 208 metres) he'd have to be close to a call-up. Mind you NZ are hardly ever short of props.

Well, its not like all Christians are saints. Christians and Catholics have some of the most violent historys compared to other religons.

I am Catholic so no one jump down my throat for stating facts.
