What a cracker this one is shaping up to be. A chance for NZ to show its a real challenge for the RLWC and for Tonga a chance to show their recent success isnt a flash in the pan. Two monster packs chock full of talent going toe to toe. I hope the stadium is full and the atmosphere reflects the quality on show. Game of the weekend potentially.

I think NZ will have too much talent in the halves and win by 12 in a bruising encounter.

Really looking forward to this one, NZ look the strongest they have in a long time and Tonga very strong as well.

Any idea of ticket sales for this one?

Obviously there is the huge ‘first RL game since 2019’ element to it all, but not sure if that necessarily translates into a sell out or anything.

Corresponding match got 23,624 in 2019 - ‘the rematch’.

Here's hoping Jesse remembers not to disgrace himself after the game this time.

NZRL has announced on it’s Facebook page that NZ v Tonga is a sell out…

It wont happen, NRL clubs will NOT release players. The clubs control the game along with the broadcasters. Internationsl will ONLY be played post season.

Tonga are on the same level as Samoa at the moment. Samoa could do better than Tonga at the WC, especially if the NSW players are added.

id like to see a double 4 nations next year played here

eng,aus,nz & tonga

samoa, fiji, cook is, png
France should be invited to tour or host same teams as England no matter what the situation ends up being. They are hosting a World Cup in 3 years.

England & France tour/tournament in Aus, NZ & Pacific in 23.

2-3 of Aus, NZ, Tonga, Fiji, PNG or Samoa tour/tournament in UK & France in 24.
