NZ World Cup Squad

Weepu and Kelleher are both too slow and very average...Lauaki will be good for impact.

The rest of the squad is predictable...

I think Weepu's had an average year, but he I think has had a fairly good international career. I'm a bit surprised, even though admittedly I'm an Ellis fan.

Flavell had a great start to the year with the Blues, and then sort of dipped away.

Flavell has not really made an impact on the international stage...wonder if Weepu will now look to a career in the NRL ??.

Only 3 props and 3 locks, but they found a place for Lauaki kinda outta nowhere. A bit surprising, but I'm pleased cos I'm a massive Lauaki fan.

Weepu should definitely look at coming to league now because him being left out, after being a fixture in the squad between world cups, is a bit of a shocker.

Ellis getting in ahead of Weepu is rubbish.

Ellis is rubbish. hes cant even hold the crusaiders number 9 jumper ahead of Kevin Senio and they pick the guy for the world cup??

how the hell can henry say that it was done on form?? hes comparing the form of Ellis against Fiji, Tonga, Japan & Samoa up against the form form of Piri Weepu against France, Canada, South Africa & Australia!! what rubbish!!

i really feel for Weepu... he was put into the reconditioning squad and then when he was finally given some football the hurricanes put him at 10. Ellis has been rubbish all season and that includes the pacific nations cup. his dropping has nothing to do with form... i think it has something to do with that Booze up during the week.

They will take a 4th prop TH - waiting on Sommerville to prove himself fit.

 at the carry on about Weepu - he's playing awful, adds nothing from the bench and seems to be disruptive if he's not the #1 guy. Although the form argument is dodgy, Elis is a better halfback. Kelleher is a liability, it might be that Ellis starts and Leonard comes on.

Weepu would make a good hooker in league I think, not a 7

Kelleher is a definite liability..how many times does he drop the ball from the base of the scrum ???.

Leonard is safe with his hands and has pace to burn.
