Well folks here we are. The first serious league game of the year this Saturday evening

What do we all think about this game?

Should there be a 3 game format? Leave it as it is, or scrap it :shock:

Yep, it's an exhibition match with players selected through a (flawed) popularity contest.

Still I'm pretty excited about watching it. I'll be cheering for the Parra players and death-riding all the players I hate.

I love the Indigenous All Stars game except that Ricky Stuart uses it as a selection trial for the NSW fullback. One good game here and you are a certainty for game 1 of Origin.

Ranga All Stars definitely.

BTW parentage for the Ranga All Stars will go back to the grandparents as per the RL World Cup rules. I would assume then that if Hindy, for example, has a few red whiskers in his 3 day growth, then he would qualify.

I'm really struggling to give a crap about this game. I just want Hindy & Sandow and to a lesser extent everyone else to get through it uninjured. Perhaps i'm just a party pooper. Maybe it should be held in the country somewhere. Move it around like or instead of the City Vs Country

Absolutely. It`s an exhibition match - and a terrific one. That aboriginal backline looks like it should have plenty of tries in it.
I hope it never is anything more than an exhibition game: the moment they start trying desperately to win it (a la State of Origin) it will completely lose it`s purpose and spirit.
