I don't want Lima! didn't he hit a woman in a pub fight a few years ago? or was that just the boyfriend he smacked out?

Beuttner has stated he will play for match payments and a very small contract. He wants to pay back the club for sticking with him even though they were entitled to terminate his contract due to his imjury. If he is forced to leave the club he will retire. He refuses to play for anyone else. He might saddle up for the Pie's.

Senter and Mears are most likely going to be let go. I would re-sign Mears though. Galea is been groomed for the hookers role.

Vianne should be signed up ASAP !!! At the moment he is our most damaging runner of the ball even though he isnt playing at his best.

Buettner is finished. There is nothing he can offer your club that you don't already have. He'll only spend next year on the sidelines like this year.

He should do the club a huge favour and quit now and not accept any money from the Tigers for this year!!!!!

The Tigers won't pay him next year unless its for a coaching role!

I'd still rate Micheal Buettner one of the best hole runners in the game, as shown in 2001, he has had a bad run with injuries has a point to prove...... Mighty Tiger, at the moment his on f**k ALL and what does it really mean not taking out money, it isnt ganna help us for this year at all... Buettner is off contract and i personally would like to see him involved with the juniors, his experience is vital, we have alot of young centres coming from, plenty of experienced forwards but very few backs..... We need an experienced centre, who has a level head under presure.

GO THE TIGERS

Bit harsh, but I do agree with you MT. His best days are behind him. If he plays for match payments I wouldnt mind seeing him running around for the Pie's and helping coach the young backs coming through the grades. When I spoke to him he seems like a great genuine guy. Good bloke to have around the place.

Micky B is from a different era, just like Hollywood, Buckets and Mearsey. I think there days are over. It's time for the new breed.

Look I'm all for him being used within the club as a coaching role very simular to what he was doing before he got injured and how he and Wilson where helping out alot of the younger boys this year.

But his playing days are over, he will never be fast enough to run through a gap let alone fast enough to trake down any defenders he is too old to be playing top grade let alone PL in which a younger player could very have that position instead of him.

Coaching role no probs - playing role big probs!

Buettner is far from being the only problem. All these players should be either let go,released or their contracts paid out:
Buettner
Graham
Senter
Mears
O`Neill
Sattler
Moodie
Wilson
Covell

They are all either too old,too slow or inaffective! If it`s true that Lima`s off contract and we don`t resign him,it`s a BIG MISTAKE!

One or two older heads like sattler, oneill are still important to the younger guys for their development. Too much weight would be placed on their shoulders responsibility wise which will not be healthy for furthering their careers imo

We agree again Vicious, on almost all of them. Depends on who we buy. And remember we don't have kids quite ready in every position. True that most of them are too slow though

Yeah, but we need the older heads to have a bit of ability to go with it!Sign Morrison and Stringer both for the 1 year they`re looking for and give them the option of another year!

Did anyone say he is our only problem ????

I agree we need to get rid of most of those players!
