I think Allegri is safe, even if they do finish second their season should be considered a success. He's had the massive task of juggling quite a few talents and egos (Robinho, Ibra, Boateng to name a few) and he's managed to do it quite well I think, not all coaches could have done it (imagine tevez's name amongst that list too! they dodged a bullet there)...
