All the way to Las Vegas , just a quick ' best of luck ' to our world champion Jeff Horn in his title defence tomorrow in the city of sin . The poor sod has walked into a rattlesnake pit over there ( his manager should had taken far better care of him than sign a contract with that bluudy Bob Arun ) . Horn comes across as a very decent young man and win , lose or draw we know he shall give it his all .

Horn wont be allowed to win it on points over there - thats why i think he will win on TKO by round 10!! he can take a punch better than any other boxer in the world - plus he has a knock out punch - more so than Crawford who is techniqally superior but his heart not as big at Hornes!

I think this is the biggest fight I can recall an Australian boxer fighting in. Crawford is rated the best pound for pound fighter in the world. If Horn can beat him, he will then be rated one of the best boxers in the world. He will also become world wide boxing superstar and Australia's most well known boxer world wide in history. This fight is massive from an Australian perspective. Go The Hornet.

You are on the money there mickylane . He is tough as teak Horn and can take a punch as well as deliver one . The organisers of the fight have indeed set as many obstacles in Horns path as possible .

The most concerning of which is the horsehair gloves to be worn by both man , they will favour Crawford more should he fight from a distance as they will easily cut the skin . That is their job in this case , Crawfords trainer recognises that Horn bleeds and he decided to get the crown away from the Australian champion , the better option is to cut him .

But should Jeff manage to lay a couple of combinations on Crawford , then it could very well be good night sweetheart !

I thought Meywether is considered the best "pound for pound" pugilist. Is this incorrect because he's retired without my knowledge?

He gave it his all and kept coming back as a champion does . Crawford match him in the power of his punches and was ever so quick . Crawford carried on like a mug lair at the end of the fight , still that Americans for you . Your still a class above in that department Jeff.

More well known in history than Darcy, Rose or Famechon?

Even if he did win, Horn would still have a career ahead of him before matching the influence of those blokes.

Good luck to the young fella though, He has already made a truckload of $, more than your average Bruce.

Retire now whilst you still have your brains intact. Completely outclassed so talk of a rematch is folly ( and dangerous ) If you have to fight have another 4 or 5 stiffs , make more money and then retire.

I think you will see him staying well clear of the top 6 boxers, as you say, pick stiffs.

Not sure that those fights will raise much money though.
Maybe a rematch with Pac would.
