Offer Jarome Luia a mega deal

So you don't think that sometime during the next 12 months developments would have had the same money being offered by even ONE of the other 15 clubs who finished between 1 - 17 in '23 ...thus avoiding locking himself up for 5 years at the current wooden spooners? He seems totally confident in himself...why wouldn't he just wait till late '24 and shoot higher? ( as in choice of club to go to)

Just to add....it's well known and certainly known by his management that the Dragons are desperate for a top tier signing and could blow WT and the Dogs out of the water as far as money is concerned...certainly from '25 on! ..if he doesn't end up at the Dragons then I'd love to hear the rationale of "it's only about the $'s" explain that.
Is he realistically going to ever get more money than he is being offered just now by the Tigers? He has a $6m contract on the table right now.

Could the Dragons offer more? Maybe, they may be able to afford it. Big they haven’t been in the conversation so far, and for all their failings over the past few years they haven’t been the club to swing into a situation and offer silly money.

The Dragons could...pretty sure they'll be the most cashed up club by far from '25.. as the Tigers know well ...those first couple of ( good) big signings are important and make it that much easier to attract others for fair money...think about AFB signing for over 100k ( I believe) less to sign with the Sharks...it's about the money yes but not just that for EVERY player...personal motivations ..challenges and perhaps even objective criticism still drive a lot of talented players

The Dragons could but they won’t; the track record of both clubs suggests the Dragons aren’t as desperate as the Tigers.

Luai and AFB are in completely different situations. Luai has already won 3 comps, AFB hasn't even played in a grand final. Time for Luai to take as much cash as he can get. Fair enough too, but the Tigers have overpaid by way way way too much. Terrible signing, and I'm glad we've not gone for him, especially at prices like that.

There is a reason why Flanno didn’t want to know about Luai.
He’s a massive nob.
