Hell yeah guys...everything is going to be alright! No matter how depleted and shit our playing group is, how incompetent our board and CEO are, or how poor our coaching staff is...just HAVE FAITH, because the Red V will shine, just like the last 3 years...

If this pic is meant to represent Jubileebarbrady, then it's slightly incorrect. The figure's head should be lodged deep into its own arse.

I understand as dragon supporters there is anger out there. I'm just looking for positives and at least settling on the squad would be a start.

As the indigenous boys up here say, " you don't even know", so until the first tackle is made we don't know how we will play next year. Talk of wooden spoons and like is bull sugar. Big off season may durprise is all. Go the dragons.

I don't really think anyone is saying all of that?
Some of us may have experienced more than what the last 3 years has dished up, certainly many highs and just as many lows.
Yet some demand premierships and a team full of origin stars every year.
What a terrible thing it is to try and remain positive and hope the than you support does well....shame on you all for hoping our team does well :sarcasm:

Dude, if you think I dont wish for the best for our team, your are a crazy person. If you think that I expect a team of origin stars, you are a slightly less crazy person. Every game, I'm going mental and hoping for the win. If Mary ends up being the next Hasler, and Doust suddenly becomes a super businessman and the club gets launched suddenly into the new era of the NRL, I'll be ecstatic! Dont get get realism or cynicism mixed up with loss of love for my team.

The fact simply is that I cant see any of those things happening. What we have is a weaker team than last year. We have a rookie coach who showed no improvement when he took over last year, with no credentials or reason to believe he can succeed other than 'hes a straight shooter'. To back him up, we have 2 rookie assistant coaches with 0 top grade games betwen them, plus a bloke whos recent achievements include being sacked by his last club for being too aggressive with his players.

Above that, we have a CEO and board who made these ridiculous decisions despite a history of failure is these departments and despite a number of experienced and successful options being available. Tje same CEO who has mismanaged our salary cap, pushed our best player out the door and signed nuffie after nuffie to long term, high pay deals. We have a shell of a leagues club and while the better clubs are out there creating corporate partnerships and building third party agreements, we have nothing.

So again, those saying 'have faith, 2015 will be a better year, we will improve, blah blah f**king blah' have there heads in the sand, they are failing or refusing to see the writing on the wall. Call it negativity if you want, but its real and its happening right before your eyes.

Wait, what? Just as many highs as lows? Dude, we've won the comp once since 1979. We've lost five Grand Finals since 1970. We've had the second half of the eighties, 1997, the Farrar years, the Brownie years, the Price years and now the MacGregor years. We're going into 2015 with a worse side than we had in 2014, which was the third year in a row we hadn't made the semis.

I actually do demand the premiership every year. Of course I do. Otherwise what's the point? If I was dictator, we would win it every year. We would win every game by 30+. There would be no State of Origin, because we'd play exhibition games against NSW and QLD in the pre-season and win them both by 30+.

The premiership is the whole point. It isn't about "supporting a club that does the right thing", or "bringing juniors through", or "putting in an effort you can be proud of". It's about ruthlessly winning the comp as often as possible at all costs. That's the whole story and the end of the story. And we are shit at it.

So much negativity, so management has screwed up, get over it, it's old news now, put your colors on and support the mighty V, the team has s lot of unknowns, maybe someone will emerge to make 2015 the start of rebuilding to be a force again, Are all you doubters going to watch the team play or just sit here and winge, gather the flags and signs and show up and support the team.

I didn't realise life was so good for you boys that there was nothing else to worry about?
I don't really care if Tainted View/Shit Shute or Angry Ant subscribe to my positive outlook on life or where my team sits....I honestly don't care what they or others think. Everyone else is entitled to an opinion....as are those that wish to remain positive and keep their posts in that vein. No need to keep barking your negativity at everyone else...we get it !!
The crocodile tears displayed in here are hilarious. Imagine these softcocks in a real life crisis....lol
Each to their own I guess :)

Just to clarify ,every body is entitled to an opinion, but we need to keep it to ourselves if it isn't positive ,is that correct ??

The name calling that comes with your posts indicate that even though you indicate that EVERYBODY is entitled only the positive spin is worthwhile and the rest that follow the other path are just dickheads, even though for the past 3 years there has been nothing to be positive about.

To deal with a crisis you first have to identify the problem and i think BENNY V has done that very well, good luck with your real life crisis if you continue to look the other way.

Noticeably all the POSITIVE (read as SUPERIOR ) posters also were saying BMOZ wasn't going ,no salary cap issues ,club is in good hands ,i think i'll be take more notice what i read in the media than all the ill-informed INSIDE info i read from the pollyannas.

Good for you Princess. If that's how you wish to interpret my post, that's all fine by me, I don't really care what you think either :) However, you are entitled to your negative views and opinions...that's cool.
Some people aren't happy unless they're complaining - another one to fall into this category no doubt?
