Pritchard was always in doubt. I think Stagger even mentioned it on Tuesday when the team was named. It was hardly a last minute injury. I would have played foran. You know, someone who actually plays hooker.

We've already used half the second tier cap for the year. No point taking another chunk out of it for one game we were likely to lose anyway. Maybe if Peats had copped an injury and was likely to be out for several weeks it might've been worth it.

But playing Foran for one week means one (or more) less youngsters we can play later in the year, potentially for several games.

I would probably rotate between the halves (Norman, Paulo, Kelly), as we did against the Roosters midway through the first half.

Really it would depend on how long Peats and Pritchard were likely to be out. You need to look at the whole season. Think strategically.

Sadly, Kelly would be lucky to get a start in most teams reserve grade sides. Arthur continues to pick donkey's which is hurting the side.

How about a rake for starters??? It is the most important position on the field these days and he picks a 2nd rower. His fascination with Donkey's is like me on the punt on a saturday.

If that's the case, it would have made a lot more sense to have played Sandow at 7 and Kelly at 9 last week. Not saying it would have made a remarkable difference but it wouldn't have been any worse than watching Edwards attempting to play 9.

Brilliant first half set up tries scored himself decent kicking game and tackled well, went missing in the second half before he put Gorman over for the winning try and won the game with his conversion, didn't do himself any favors by not involving himself in the second half.

Admittedly Sandow, not unlike Hayne, can drift in and out of games, but at least when he was involved today he made an impact. If Kelly hadn't have thrown that pass to a Moanly player I wouldn't have even known he was on the paddock.

Nope, once they play one game they count, the same as if they play every game.

When Gus whinges about Moylan not being able to play more games it's because he has a match payments component for the next year, and the value under the next year's cap is calculated on the number of games played the previous year.
