Bomber said:Here are the pommy standings
1st - Leeds (8-1-1)
2nd - Bradford (7-3)
3rd - Wigan (5-3-2)
4th - Hull (5-4-1)
5th - London (5-5)
6th - Castleford (5-5)
7th - Salford City (4-6)
8th - St Helens (3-7)
9th - Warrington (3-7)
10th - Widnes (3-7)
11th - Wakefield Trinity (3-7)
12th - Huddersfield (2-8)
London beat Castleford in these standings due to having a better record against common opponents in their last ten games. The Broncos won two games, lost two and drew one compared to the Tigers' record of two wins and four losses.
St Helens beat Warrington, Widnes and Wakefield Trinity based on superior home record. As far as I can tell, the Wildcats did not play one single home game in their last ten (!) and dropped to the back of the 3-7 teams. Warrington beat the Vikings based on common opponents, winning three out of six compared to Widnes' three out of seven record.
THUS, under the 'use at your own risk' Bomber system, the current World Club Top 20 would consist of:
1st - Leeds Rhinos (8-1-1)
