Did anyone else see the NO offside call late in the match 76.05Min PJ runs at the line and trys to kick hits a warrior player then Grant Rovelli in a offside position takes the ball 5 tackles later the penatly try is awarded ?

Thanks god that didnt cost us the game

I must say our defense was just fantastic the boys will have confidence showing that they can score lots of point as they did against the Broncos and defense as they showed tonight...

He was never offside, you are dead set dreaming. If that is what you consider offside then Finch's intercept in the first half was offside because he was basically in the Warriors line when he got the jump

I watched the tape and he was in front of the other warrior defender that touched the ball it was close but he was offside. Finch can be in the warriors line as long a he was on side from the play the ball...

nit-picking at some questionable calls at this point is useless, Eels and Warriors fans alike should just celebrate the great game we witnessed today (Warriors not so much, although their team did do rather well) I got the greatest feeling after Faleti's try, that and the fantastic ddefence were true highlights, they should not be overshadowed by the penalty try and whatever else that was wrong that people can bring up

the thing I was most annoyed about was channel 9's piss poor coverage, but you just have to breathe, get over it and enjoy the rest of the game, and be proud of Parra's efforts. I now have no doubt that Parra can win this year's premiership, whether they will is up to them, but after tonight's exhibition you just know that they will put up a great fight and that is all we can ask

Offside is where you are in front of your own player after they have touched the ball.

That is exactly what happens

Go watch it again before making silly comments...

this wasn't nit picking - he was clearly offside .... the ball was charged down - it travelled forward at speed a fell right into his f'n hands - he couldn't be anything but offside .... but no - they get a clear 30m run and good field position, a bit of a hand from billy and we have to bust our balls the final 4 mins rather than either having another set of 6 on their line or slotting the 2pts and being 10 clear

I think he was poorly positioned, but i would of expected the touch judge to come into play then, if that was the case.

He was definitely in front, they got the penalty try off that set too......typical garbage we have to endure ever week from these refs, and that is across the board too, they are completely inept and last night is just further proof and tonight i am sure it will again be proven!!!!

I'll take your word for it, I only noticed the play and it was definitely a dud call.

Terrible call, these can't continue to go unmissed in footy season. I'm dreading when it costs a side a GF.

I noticed it too, I also noticed Archer called "charge down" maybe the rules state you can be infront of the player when the ball is "charged down"?
