I agree he deserves a go ahead of Patterson, but i`m eagerly awaiting to see if some of the younger props,ie. Harper,Hunter,Sweeney are ready for 1sts.Richard Parker is also a player with good size whom I believe could provide good impact value off the bench.

I'm Harpers biggest fan but I don't think he is ready for the top grade just yet

Hunter I think could handle the pace and I wouldn't mind seeing getting a crack

But I think the player who could be called up and has been training with the top grade squad for a few weeks now is D!ckson, he has the best tackle technique I have ever seen - he is a buckets clone with the same work ethic but he is just more complete skill wise and technically wise as well!
Yeah, although I haven`t seen a lot of him play,i`ve heard al ot of people give big wraps to Bryan Dickson. He does sound the goods, but please tell me that he runs a bit harder than Buckets! :p

Mate he runs it straight and hard - not as fast as Dene but very close to it and he has already got a typical back rowers mould

He stings in defence nearly every time he makes a tackle and its not because he goes in for a huge hit its because of his technique

He will play in the top grade I have no doubt about that and he will make an impression on people!!!

You have talked me into it.I`ll be doing my best to get there in time for Premier League on Sunday to see Dickson in action.Luke Branighan is another I don`t think we should be giving up on just yet either.Has anyone got any information as to whether or not Branighan has been made any type of offer to remain with the club next season???

If any of you guys know Chris... You'd know he's one of the nicest guys around. Of course, nice guys don't really make good front rowers, unless your Steven Price. But remember, even Pricey didn't set the world on fire until the last couple of years, so if you give big Patto a chance...

I`m hoping Patterson does have a big game.I don`t think he`s as bad a player as everyone makes out,but I just wish he could get some aggression into him.Maybe we need Roy Masters and/or the great Tommy Raudonikas to make special guest appearances in the dressing rooms to slap both Patterson and Gibbs about before the game!Something needs to be done to fire these two up!

That was easy lol If you could get there for Flegg you would see some really good talent ;-)

The Wests Tigers havn't and with Chase, Damien and Dean at the club next year I doubt that even Balmain will offer him a contract - he needs to loose weight soon otherwise he won't be around us thats for sure ;-)

I remember Chris Patterson debuting about the same time as one Clint Hill. Shame Paterson couldn't too have gone over the hill.

Wrighty you are dead right about Patto being a top bloke. Very friendly and genuine. Also far too smart to be a Prop. Georgie tried him as a second rower against the Rabbits, and he dead set had easily the best game I've ever seen him play. He was running wide and down the blind and killing it. Up the middle - nothing, on the fringes - could be very, very handy.

Parker has impressed me all season, and has been doing it in a badly beaten side of late. He got marched tonight though :(

i think the fact that skando is only missing one game will spring paterson into action in order to keep his spot in first grade.

we have 2 props on the bench in Gibbs and Paterson, would one of them drop off the bench or will paterson be used as a second rower?

was patto getting a few offloads away in reggies?
this was the one thing sheens wanted him to work on.

he certainly won't let us down in defence,he has been outstanding in first grade in that department.it was no surprise when i looked at his stat this year of 108 tackles and only 3 misses.
while he hasn't made impact in attack,i do think he deserves just a tiny little bit of praise for his defense, and the fact he does not make mistakes and put pressure back on the team.

hope you have a big one patto.
at least to shut everyone up for a week.

Yeah all the talent in the lower grades seems to be heavily balanced at Balmain at the moment. The flegg side's only lost what twice in eleven games or so thats amazing in itself. It should be a good test for the flegg side playing a souths side with some very talented individuals in there.

You can't say the Flegg talent is heavily based at Balmain, Wests basically have the 2002 SG Ball winning side, the side available to them can win the comp...

Sorry if i made it sound that way, i merely meant thats the trend of the moment, last season i would've put it the other, it just goes to show how things can change over a season.
