Revealed everywhere apparently in Canberra and on the footy show tonight,

About damn time we bought someone to give us a decent forward pack.

fantastic news - a high quality first signing is only going to increase our chances of picking up some other players after june 30 too.

Next on the list should be one more prop and at least one good winger

Great news, O'Hara's an excellent young player. I understand Laffranchi still remains unsigned though, does anyone know what's going on there?

If you can get more than 30 minutes a game out of him, you are doing well. An asthmatic and big smoker and I wasn't sad to see him leave the Raiders. 2003 was his standout year with the others mediocre in comparison.

Good luck!

Why shouldnt we?

You guys regularly got 45mins +, 50 mins over '03 & '04.

Low 40's to mid 50's would be standard for a front rower these days.

He'll play origin again next year I have no doubt.:D

Durries didnt worry Moodie or Cliff Lyons among others.

Moodie and Lyons we're front rowers already suffering badly from Asthma
as said, if you can get 40 or 50 minutes from him then he will be an absolute gun for ya's and will be a rep prop, but i have my doubts considering his habbits... i wish him good luck thou

Considering the available options it's about the best signing the Tigers could make. I wonder if McDonnell will pick up Galloway too for the Tiges. I remember saying to him at the Wests v Cronulla SG Ball semi back in 02 to sign him (he played a blinder), and Waz gave me one of those "if only" looks. Would be cool if he did finally get his man.
