old jets games on vid

How old is old? if you mean 2000's and back to the early 90's I suppose there would be home video style footage galore but from 1983 and earlier the best source would be channel 9 or channel 7 sports archives,,only thing is how do we get them to put a compilation of Jets footage onto one disc? Channel 9's "boots and all" show used to have some great footage of the Jets from years ago (yes footage other than the 81 G/F) and thinking back to those days (late70's and early 80's) one could tune in and see the Jets as a regular mention on the football shows of the era so someone is surely sitting on vast stocks of video tape?

Various friends at Henson Park have videos.

One I'm waiting to see is Newtown v Combined Brisbane in the early 1980s. The Jets beat a de facto Qld State of Origin team - something NSW couldn't do until years later!

Knew a bloke years ago who had some on BETA tape from very early 80's but when he carked it his missus threw all his stuff in the wheelie bin! always the way isn't it?
