Don't forget the recruitment of the superb Slammin Sam and J Lo

Or the `we have plenty of depth now so will be playing someone from PL' response when asked what would happen in the even of a Benji injury

As long as he DOES NOT pay the $350,000-$400,000 for that spastic who can`t tackle, i`ll be happy!!!

Last night was an aberration from Phats. He is usually a very solid defender

USUALLY ???
Are you fair dinkum ??? He`s been carved up by Matt Cooper every time he come up against him. He`s a good defender against average centres and back rowers, QUITE OFTEN gets carved up when coming up against someone with a bit of quality!!!
I thaught you watch every game ???

The guy has won 2 comps. Scores on average a try every 2 games. Attack wise he has been liiving off scraps all season with little clean, early ball due to the f**kwit in the 7 jersey (well the last 15 wks). He is a class centre mate and a very underrated centre. You don't win 2 comps in 3 yrs with 2 different (and unfancied) sides if you are a garbage player. How did Matt Cooper go in the 05 semi ... or the game in 05 where we belted them at Kogarah. Defensively he is usually very very solid. Last night was very unlike him

I`ll agree that he `s a classy attacking player when he gets half a chance, but i`ve never been real impressed with him as a defender. Tell me this, with a cap of 4 million, how much would you say he`s worth ???

Or Round 1 last year.

This hate of Whatuira is growing tiresome Vicious, especially when you start talking up Matt Cooper, who's hardly "world-class". FYI, since Whatuira signed at the start of 2005, the Tigers have played the Dragons 5 times with Whatuira playing, for 4 wins. Not a bad strike rate. It's usually Gasnier who carves us up, 3 times he's scored 3 tries against us, also bagged a double against us in 2005.

I'd say he's worth anywhere up to $300k a year. When fully fit he's an excellent player. Let's not forget he's only played something like half of all games since the start of 2006 and is still getting back into the groove.

I'd say he'd be worth in the region of 260-300k a yr player.
1. There aren't many international centres available
2. There aren't too many 2 time premiership winning centres available.

So he`s an experienced 2 time premiership winninning international that should be exempt from critisizm for doing nothing but miss tackles all season, yet a young 19 year old local junior who is SIMILARLY having a forgetfull season deserves to be ripped apart ??? Makes sense to me ???

I can assure you that he WON`T be staying with us for $300,000 per season or any less. This is my whole point, again not denying that he`s a great finisher when given opportunity, but in my opinion you have to come looking for the ball, make opportunity out of nothing and defend better than what he does to be paid any more than $300,000 per season.

How many centres make opportunities out of nothing. There are 2. Hodges and Gasnier. Perhaps Tahu once or twice a yr when he isn't injured. The likes of King, Bell, Cooper (who is ordinary and garbage as Origin has shown) all rely on their inside men to create chances for them. Phats can find the line and when he is being fed good ball by Benji and Hodgo as opposed to sh*t by Morris he is a great finisher.

McDonnell is beyond being defended. We have won 3/22 or thereabouts with him playing. The stat doesn't lie
