O'Meley high hit on Webcke

Did anyone else notice the hit by O'Meley on Webcke in about the 50th minute? It was just after O'Meley had returned to the field following a stint on the sideline.

I was very surprised Channel 9 didn't show numerous replays of that one because it looked as though the ogre hit Webcke flush on the jaw.

Let's hope the video match review committee pick it up on Monday morning because it looked to be a bad one.

didnt see it, i was at the game but at the canteen when it must have happend, and when i came back home i didnt watch the replay.

if mason is suspended which i hope he isnt we wont have any of our main forwards next week, was o'meley's hit worse than mason's?

You could see Webcke considered nearly staying down - which would have been a first for him I reckon.

Let's hope the VMR committee pick it up then - would be wrong of Webcke to be "punished" for doing the right thing!
