srsly ppl need to take a chill pill and realise that last years premiers are in the same situation as us 2/4! ther is waaaaayyyy too much panic atm we dnt need to be panicking unless we r on a massive losign streak MID SEASON not now!!

gosh this is wat sh*ts me abt this forum ppl go over the top saying we should sack tim smith and rearrange the whole team! NO YOU CANT SCREW ARND WITH HALVES SO ERLY IN THE SEASON!

ther are 3 players who should be dropped and shouldnt hav been ther in the first WAGIN, LOWRIE, REDDY! REDDY IS A MISS TACKEL MACHINE AND THE UTHA TWO ARE PLAIN sh*t! bring back robbo and when inu is fit kik reddy to the curb big time!

mate im not happy with wat was dished up im saying everyone needs to expect a poor performance or 2 so erly in the season we rnt gunna come out winning everygame in the first 5rounds and dominating the rest of the comp! it waint gunna happen and neva will but the way all yous carry on its like your expectin us to go underfeeated and win by 50 every week!

we'll be ther at the end of the season, i know, you know (and if u dnt ur an idiot) so everyone jst chillax and take the ride as it comes!

Only a few are asking for our halves to be changed, and what you've been happy with the four mediocre games we have put together.

Though i think everybody agrees there is no place for Tood, Wagon and Reddy in first grade especially Reddy.

I can take losing, but losing like not giving a toss is not acceptable. Thats why we haven't won anything in 20 yrs and that why we won't probably win again this year. Why accecpt anything lass than 100% ??.

strider i will accpet that as gospel right now, i agree we have much improving to do but that will come as the season prgresses for now we'll ride the eel train and see where it goes!

I agree with other people NIALL>. I do not expect EELS to win every match. If you see last three two games we lost and the one we would have lost - because of our in discipline. These days sports have become professional - so why can't our players show some professionalism. True it is 4th round - and we should be fresh. we should be more energetic - what they showed on park - it does not not show the round is only 4. The players look tired from 5 minutes of the game. We seriously have some issue with playing culture in our team. Every year same frigginng outcome. We start playing well from round 14 or 15 and when time comes we do not have petrol. There is nothing like 4th orund or 5th round. It is a game and we have to win. This should be the attitude. Nothing below is un acceptable and that is true professionalism.

We could easily be 0-4 right now - so 2-2 isn't so bad. We are usually slow starters, but our away form so far is terrible, although they are the 2 longest trips. No need to panic yet. In 2006 we were 2-10 and made the finals.

I agree with you Niall. We start slow every year (I can't explain why), but we are always in there at the business end of the season having a shot at the title. I 've got faith that it will be the same story this year.

All teams play like crap at some stage in the season (except maybe Melb last year). For us, it always just seems to be at the start.
