Old Timer I agree with Kurt Mann. Of course, he was not a ‘star’ but no nonsense good defender and very athletic. Playing centre, no opposition centre really ‘got on top of him‘. I never forget the night he played 5/8 against the tigers just after Gareth Widdop’s shoulder 1 st went in 2018, at the back end of the season.
He gave it his all that night. One time the Tigs got a good overlap and he followed them along the overlap line tackling one after another ( truly about 3 in a row by staying on his feet ). Pretty sure it was the night that Benny Hunt got 10 mins for repeated ruck infringements.
Kurt not on big $$$ either.

Probably one of the forwards. They don't need anything to do their job well enough. Guys like Saab and Garrick rely a lot on Turbo to get going. See how bad they go without a star to get try assists.

Overall no real loss in that list which speaks volumes of our player development.
