Our team - first half was bad - bad mean really bad. I can't belive I was wiating for nearly 6 months to see thier first game. What a let down... The tries in first half was soft. I was quite suprsied to JH playing like that. Gees.. I am skeptical. These day RL is quite competetive. You cannot just say "oh this is first round". Lets face it we are not Broncose becuase everytime we go on the field - we do not want prove anything. We are so lethargic and terrible. A club which such rich history - it is quite sorry state I must say. I guess the problem is with our past greats. I do not think any past greats gives a dman about our club....
It is quite sorry to see a team playing like - we completly gave away the game...

Sorry MITS, Im with Suity on this one. No supporter can tell another to "f**king leave." Everyone has a right to an opinion. I usually like to hear your thoughts but this time IMO you just can't say that to a another passionate supporter who is just like yourself.

i just think this thread is silly .... in all honesty I expected us to lose tonight (I even picked the warriors in the tipping comps and i rarely pick against parra) ..... yes we did a bit worse than i thought, but I am not overly upset cos I expected to lose

Sure we won the second half, but that plays no significance when your down 24 zip.

Parra really need to win their fans over next week and I'm sure well here a lot of positives.

On a side note without knocking Burty who does nothing wrong most of the time, how the hell did we choose him over Mckinnon. McKinnon has more skill in his left testie than burt has all over. I could not believe McKinnon's performance tonight......just cintilating!

I dont give a rats about credibility thats got nothing to do with it this is an internet form no one knows each other hear from a bar of soap, how would credibility come into it????

Also its clear by MITS post that he is some sort of messiah with the eels and has some sort of inside info guru attached to his name. Why does that make him a better fan than us ????

I love the eels and wish for them to kick bollocks big time. But i am not niave and there are things within the team that need to change.

you have every right to feel the way you do after that first half performance, you definitely weren't alone.

I think we can stop bagging MITS a little bit here. I don't know him at all, but I definitely respect the fact that he seems to bleed blue and gold and gets off his butt to follow the team wherever they happen to be playing. That doesn't make him a better person than anyone else, but it says plenty about his committment to the club.

And I happen to agree with him - sure, there's disappointment after another weak start to the season, but following a footy team includes losing and includes some tough times without a doubt. Going all 'disgruntled' doesn't help anyone.

just letting you know Jay I happily spent the evening with 7 friends watching the game than having dinner with them and lo and behold they're all members of this forum and post here on a regular basis. ;-)
