Isnt Sheens under contract till the end of 2010???.Anyway if he was to do the bolt I would go for Brown or even a long shot in Mathew Johns, both could attract some quality players our way, both are young and both have good people skills. Gentles might be a very good coach but he dosnt have the profile needed to atract players and sponsorships. That might sound a bit funny after what Johns has been through, but he has a big profile for good and bad reasons, but it is big!!!

If their is change it has to be a complete change,Roycee,Gentles the whole Sheens team and the new bloke brings in his team maybe with the exception of the good doctor killer Kul and of course Leedsey

In my paperwork I'm keeping on WT Sheens is definitely end of 2010 but then again, maybe he is reading the tealeaves and realising it is time for a change for both WT and his sake. You can stay too long and things become stale. If ever that described WT I'd say that is it now. Stale. Needs new ideas.

Nathan Brown had f**k all support from the guys running the Dragons from what I gather.

Whats the biggest issue for the Tigers, Recruitment, retainment and defence.

What three things had he managed to do very well at the dragons?
Recruitment, retainment and defence.

Look at Huddersfield this season, for a long time they've been also-rans, never been a serious premiership contender since the Superleague started, now they're a major force. It's no fluke.

Kearney appears to me to be a bit green, he hasn't really been tested on the week in week out rigours of premiership footy.
Who did the Dragons recruit whilst Brown was the coach? I don't recall one big name recruit whilst he was there, the vast majority of their teams whilst he was in charge came up through their juniors. Our recruitment is an issue, but I don't believe Brown would make us any more attractive.

WTF is retainment? I've got no issues with the Tigers' talent retention, looking at the players that have departed over the past 5 years, only a handful come to mind that I would have liked to keep (Prince, Richards, Laffranchi & O'Donnell) and in all honesty, other than maybe Lafranks, what else could have been done to retain them? Prince was offered big bucks but wanted to move to QLD, Richards was offered overs to go to ESL etc.

I also believe any coach with experience in the NRL would do an above average job in the ESL.
