ONE PROBLEM WITH THE NRL GAME

now i put it the challenge to all you clever people who are good at creating images etc hint hint planet lol to somehow make a a cover with Cayless or Hindy or sum eel on it instead!

winner will get lots of applause from me and many other eels fans lol

My Xbox copy has locked up a couple of times Vrs Melbourne, which is especially annoying if you happen to be playing on 40 mins and deep into the 2nd half, and even more so when you are playing bloody well

and this is my other fret: Hindy's fitness stat is a mere 4 out of 10! To put this into perspective, no other Parra player or even Owen Craigie is lower! Last time I checked, Hindy was one of the few forwards in the NRL who could give his all 80 minutes per game. His other stats are amazingly low as well, more suited to a player like Willie Mason.

I havent got the game yet, but this revelation that Hindmarsh's fitnesses is ranked lowest of all players, heightens my concerns about how realistic it is....

All the guys who were injured for extended periods of time during the game were given "4" for fitness.

If you check other teams, this is the case as well. Eg. Ryan Girdler and Luke Burt are 4 as well.

I played a trial version of the game a month or so ago and Hindy's Line Break Ability was 7 out of 10 I think.

Compared to other players who had higher than 7, Hindy deserved an 11!

Also (from my blue and gold eyes) I don't think the HES people like Parra as a club, because if you play as any other team but Parra (i.e. the EELS are a computer team) they usually are positioned near the bottom of the ladder!!!

Well, that reflects the first half of season 2003 for Parra, when most of the work on the game was probably done... #-o

But I think you can edit players stats and customise the teams and competitions to make up for it, at least on the PC version anyway.

So far (on the lowest two difficulty levels) I've played unbeaten as Parra - but I've only been game to match them against the Halifax Blue Soxs. 8-[

I dare say your right! Considering you have the Bulldogs Steven Price on the front cover and one of the Videos in the game is from the game when the Bulldogs pumped us earlier this year.

So yes I would dare say SIDHE support the cheats and I guess hating Parra comes with the territory.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks Hindy was ripped off, not to mention Lyon is no-where near his actual ability either. But in fairness Burt, Dykes & Moodie are bloody DEMONS for some reason. And on a better point, Armit got loaded with the skills he deserves...

hmmm well i will certantly be editing stats to be more realistic if i find Tallis has better fitness than Hindy then we know this game is a total joke and if Ryan Cross's leg dont fall off by round 2 then its not real either :badgrin:
