Yes folks it was only a trial, don't read anything into it. The same thing has happened over the last few years, we have not beaten a NRL side in a trial match and you know, we have not featured in a semi final match. So maybe we should start reading something into it!! .

Can someone tell me a positive to come out of the chooks match ??Except maybe no season ending injuries, but lets face it that could have been a positive if it happened to certain players considering the way Sheens picks a side.

What was the use of having young Jake Mullaney in the squad when he got 59 seconds of game time, its not like the game was going down to the wire.

Three weeks out from the Manly game and we play like a broken down bus, Shines will be a miracle man if he can turns things around for round one and we are a team that needs early points if the past few years are anything to go on.

Our only hope theirs a "Indian bookmaker involved" and we ran dead to get some odds to help bail the Balmain leagues club out its hole!!! Lets all be upbeat and positive

Mullaney did play in the u20's game........

positives- match fitness.....Flanagan and Brown played well.....as did the spewer and cayless had his first hit out in a long time...it also showed that Lui had nothing...but the forwards were dominated....Fitzy did well also...

Now I know you have NFI....Fitzy was useless...No direction from dummy half . Our attack sucked and the Rooters ran in 18 unanswered points when he was on the field. Farah comes back on Lawrence scores...

It`s a trial, when they start giving out 2 points and giving the players a winning bonus for winning a trial game, then start worrying about it. Until that time, the only purpose of a trial is to give the players a bit of match fitness.

The best thing to come out of trials is match fitness and no injuries I agree. Isn't it also to trial players in certian positions to see how they go should they be needed throughout the season. Well if Fitzy is a serious contender as Farah's backup...We are stuffed should anything happen to him.

I couldn;t give a stuff about the result either after all it's Only a Trial.
