Little note here the Australian and New Zealand womens teams will play a Twenty20 international as a curtain raiser to the men's game

In the spirit of today's likely washout at the Gabba. The forecast for Sydney on Sunday is 'Rain periods' not just Sunday but also Saturday, Sunday and Monday. New meaning to the rain following the cricket, with the low currently affecting SE Qld tracking south and then affecting Sydney over the weekend. Looks like it'll be a sad way to finish the International season in Australia.

Nothing wrong with calling a kid into the squad and not playing him. He'd benefit from being in the environment.

But this time they took him from playing a Sheild game, last time it was the off season. Couldn't see them take a youngster from playing an important game like this.....
