I think it would cause to many problems.

Can you see the ICC wanting to look like idiots by changing the winner after the game due to there trigger happy third umpires?

They would have been sighing in relief that Australia ended up winning.

What a cracker. Winning by 1 run. Also that catch of Adam Voges's has to be the catch of the season

I would assume that they have rules about a decision being final as they did not change it during the play.

They don't want teams challenging every little thing.

So even if it clearly wrong it is a binding ruling.

I agree it is embarrasing either way but they will hide behind some rule. Oh it is T20 we need to make quick decisions bad luck they did not get the correct fottage in time. Our people are not incompetent the tv stations are to slow and so on.

They clearly had the camera angle to get it right, why they didn't use it is beyond me.

Should've won by 3 but that's life. We still got home... I'll never forget that Voges catch.

No....we'll just get the score right. It's just the same as checking with the third umpire when a fielder trys to save a boundary.

There's a big difference detween taking two runs off the scoreboard and sending a batsman back out to the pitch.

Really? Wouldn't even call it a great catch personally. That type of catch doesn't actually require that much skill, it is just that it is rare where the circumstances arise where a player can execute a catch like that. I would back every 'good' international fielder to be able to take a catch like that. In fact I have seen catches like it at international level on several occasions.

Duminy's catch on the other hand... that was special

I'm pretty sure you used to not be to be allowed to do it either. I remember it happening in the 99 World cup and it didn't count as a catch but could be done to save the 6.

Chris Harris did it right in front of me at Jade Stadium, must have been around the early 2000s. Caught the ball, threw it in the air, the difference being that he pushed himself off the fence that was right behind him back onto the field

I remember that. Andy Bichel did it in one of the tsunami fundraising matches in Hamilton as well but Harris had a fair bit to do from memory.

Dussey I think it was did it at the G in a state match a couple of years ago

Funny to see people bagging Dusseys innings, he was the highest scorer for Aus, sure wasnt the quickest but you often need a steadying innings in T20 especially on slow, sh*t pitches and with a long tail
