I know it isn't the most reliable source in the world but in Rebecca Wilson's article in todays Tele, She mentions that a lot of the NRL/EDL players who were going to play for the USA in the game v Australia have pulled out as they wanted apperance fees.

None of the players who were going to play could be considered superstars Petersen was problably the biggest name in the side.

Due to the lack of an apperenace fee all players except for Muzza and Brandon Costin have pulled out and their places will be taken by locals.


I wonder if we are now going to see Captain Muzza!!!

Wouldn't surprise me if that was true considering some of the stuff that has been in her article in the past.

Appearance fees? I don't get it... Surely they'd have their travel and basic expenses to Philly covered. But there won't be the income for this one-off game to allow for a luxury like appearance fees for either side.

Could play him at fullback until he got into 1st grade he was played mostly at fullback.
