Optus 4G.... Is it any good?

Hi All,

Does anyone have a smartphone with the Optus 4G network?

Is it any good? What's the reception like?

Currently have an I-phone 4S with Vodafail and contract is up in October thank God! Hence, am strongly considering jumping ship.

Just go with Kogan. Uses Telstra Next G network, so your coverage and bandwidth will increase dramatically from what you ha with Vodafail, plus it's cheap and you won't be under contract.

When you find the spot that Optus 4G works in it works great. Don't move though. Stand very still.

You just have to be aware that you can't use more than 400mb of data a day. No good if you want to stream video such as NFL or NRL games to the device.
