Just on the Radio, Noddy no nuts has pulled out with a hamstring injury and Orford is his replacement.

Well Done Matty, he should have been picked in the 1st place.

orford has also ruled himself out to injury.....
Is it serious? Hopefully he's OK for our next game - by then he'll be all signed up and ready to go! 8)

He wasn't okay for our last game, why would our next game matter?

Lucas, I am pissed at how Orford ruled himself out of SOO2 due to an injury. According to reports he had the injury prior to his game against Souths.

The point I was making was he was quite happy to play for Storm when injured so why wouldn't he play our next game. It's not like we needed a fully fit halfback on Saturday night.

At least if he leaves Storm he won't be able to say it was so he'd have a chance at playing rep footy....

Orford got a vote in the LU player of the year comp, so I am wondering if he was as bad as some people on here are saying?????????

Unfortunately I was unable to watch the game, so can't pass judgement myself

Orford played against the Rabbits.

yes apparently up on painkillers as well... makes you wonder why they insist on being heroes for these kind of matches - if you're unfit (ie less than 100%) why play and put the rest of the team at risk??

i realise some would argue that considering how much $$$ theyre on they should be out there every week, but a week off giving someone else a run might have been an option to consider??

When you have a player the calibre of Orford, if they can play fine on painkillers then let them. I can't see Melbourne winning too many games this year without him.
