Brent Read on the Rush Hour reckons the trafficking part of the charge relates to Earl getting the pep from somewhere and then giving it to his doctor, who then injected him with it. Nothing to do with supply to team mates. Seems like they have a ridiculously broad definition of the term trafficking.

Sorry to disappoint all the foamers.

i posted a tweet of his earlier where he said it didn't involve any other NRL players

Trafficking under WADA code means you have to supply other Athletes bound by the WADA code.

That was before Earl potentially started grassing people up. There is certainly some chance he was involved in dodgy dealings at Canberra. It would be imo silly to think otherwise.
Kinda makes you wonder about how much the people he lived with knew...

That's a load of horse shit from Brent Read... There are numerous examples of athletes who have given the substance to a doctor to administer it to them where trafficking has never been mentioned.

By definition trafficking is to deal or trade in something illegal.

You mean cheat ratting on other cheats; don't try to bring aussie mateship into it.

There is a big difference between keeping quiet on a mate, say, having a schooner when he should be back at work and someone playing a game under false pretenses (keeping another player out of the side and having an unfair advantage against the other team) - big bloody difference in my mind. Remember, it is unaustralian to cheat.

I'm not saying he shouldnt rat out other cheats.

If investigators can get him to talk, thats great.

I'm simply pointing out there isnt much in it for him imo. He'll be unwelcome anywhere.

Its not like he's some superstar that other clubs desperately want or anything. He's a dime a dozen player.

It is also unaustralian to dob your mates in.

Trafficking:
Selling, giving, transporting, sending, delivering or distributing a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method (either physically or by any electronic or other means) by an Athlete, Athlete Support Personnel or any other Person subject to the jurisdiction of an Anti-Doping Organization to any third party; provided, however, this definition shall not include the actions of "bona fide" medical personnel involving a Prohibited Substance used for genuine and legal therapeutic purposes or other acceptable justification, and shall not include actions involving Prohibited Substances which are not prohibited in Out-of-Competition Testing unless the circumstances as a whole demonstrate such Prohibited Substances are not intended for genuine and legal therapeutic purposes

That's the WADA definition. From my reading of that, Read may be right but I have no idea really

Don't think so. This is the definition in the WADA Code:

Trafficking: Selling, giving, transporting, sending, delivering
or distributing a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method
(either physically or by any electronic or other means) by an
Athlete, Athlete Support Personnel or any other Person
subject to the jurisdiction of an Anti-Doping Organization to
any third party.

The definition according to the code is

Selling, giving, transporting, sending, delivering or distributing a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method (either physically or by any electronic or other means) by an Athlete, Athlete Support Personnel or any other Person subject to the jurisdiction of an Anti-Doping Organization to any third party; provided, however, this definition shall not include the actions of "bona fide" medical personnel involving a Prohibited Substance used for genuine and legal therapeutic purposes or other acceptable justification, and shall not include actions involving Prohibited Substances which are not prohibited in Out-of-Competition Testing unless the circumstances as a whole demonstrate such Prohibited Substances are not intended for genuine and legal therapeutic purposes.

So no it doesn't necessarily mean he passed them on to other players.

i've responded to this already when posted by someone else

f**king didn't realise Weedler had a fan club

You claimed his second tweet doesn't count as it doesn't suit your agenda. You have still yet to explain why the betting tweet has any relevance to his tweet about breaking the news months ago. Answer the question dickhead. You cry like a little bitch when people don't respond to your stupid questions.
