Didn't Weidler claim the leaks were from the Sharks?

This rush to get interviewed is interesting as today's Melbourne press are reporting that Essendon players were due interviewed today, but that's postponed to next week.

Clearly due to Smith's intervention, Cronulla have been brought forward.

You would hope they are confident of being cleared, else it's a case of "hurry up and suspend someone!"

Must be pretty tough for the players not being able to comment while the other side leak like crazy to the media trying to drag them and their careers through the mud.

For someone who whinges and bitches about the Daily Telecrap's tactics, you certainly use the same.

Where is your proof of who has leaked?

Julia, how did a bunch of AFL journos know the Cowboys had been mentioned in the ACC report before the Cowboys did?

the NRL didn't leak them the names

Dingle Dangles is using the old ploy of not answering a question by posing a question - back to you.

Here is my proof; from the horse's mouth, Rebecca Wilson:

"We just got information from high legal authorities and high law enforcement authorities that led us to do some searching for this report," Wilson told Triple M.

"The original tip for this story did not come from the person who leaked this report, the original tip for this story came from a law enforcement authority - and a very senior law enforcement authority - that led us to go in search of the report, which basically confirmed what we had been told."

Happy ;-)

Just to spell it out: They dont come much more higher or senior than the ACC.

Looks like only 1 Sharks player questioned today.

Gee they work hard these ASADA blokes.

95% of the heavy lifting done by Rebecca Wilson et all.

They are a gov agency after all leave it to private enterprise to be productive.

What do u reckon 1 leak = 1 week of work?

Don't want to rain on your parade, dude; but it has been noted that ASADA after reading and assessing the Cronulla report passed it onto the NSW police. I noted at the time that the cops leak like a sieve.

Far from suggesting the ACC leaked, Wilson is suggesting that the cops did.

Maybe, maybe not. Does conveniently play into ACC hands.

However, Fairfax Media has been told that the section of the leaked report published in the Daily Telegraph was a legal risk assessment undertaken by Darren Kane of Colin W Love and Co on behalf of the Sharks, and was not included in the initial report compiled for Kavanagh and submitted to the NRL.

Kane merely stated that if Mannah - as a member of the 17-man NRL squad for five of Cronulla's matches during the 12 week period in question from March to May, 2011 in question - had been one of the players who took the supplements the Sharks have been accused of using, and a link between those substances was proven, the legal exposure faced by the club "has the potential to be as serious as matters could get".

so it wasn't even an assessment by a doctor and there's no proof Mannah took anything
