he's not going for a job interview for f**ks sake! he's not in a criminal court.

who cares what he wears?

if i was involved in this farce i'd be wearing a clown suit.

Id wear an Essendon "Guernsey" personally.

I wonder how many of the people congratulating the Sharks players for not cooperating did the same when the Storm players refused to cooperate during the salary cap scandal. I wonder how many have at some stage criticised the players, or assumed they were guilty because they didn't cooperate.

Seems like ASADA have put the players in an impossible position and are now cracking the sh!ts. Surely this was to be expected.

who said they're not cooperating?

Oh so it was for a different reason that the interviews were cancelled?

Wait stupid question, you will come out with some garbage about how they cancelled them because they have no evidence, this is all a political conspiracy blah blah blah.

There was mountains of black and white, unquestionable proof that the storm players had multiple signed contracts and were being paid in vouchers, white goods and dodgy 3rd party payments.

As such someone saying they didn't know those payments were dodgy comes across as either a complete moron who'd be incapable of lacing their own boots... Or a liar.

The sharks on the other hand have as far as the public is aware next to no evidence of any wrong doing (ASADA certainly hasn't released any), so we can only assume innocence until proven guilty.

What constitutes not cooperating? If graham just goes in answering "I don't know" to every question who are we to say he is lying?

I'd say making yourself available when they ask and giving an answer to every question asked of you (baring in mind "I don't know" is a valid response) is about as much cooperation as anyone should be expected to give in these situations.

I'm not talking about any individual or any particular situation in the following.

If investigators (of any kind) put evidence on the table that it is clearly obvious a person should have some knowledge about, and they give it the "I don't recall" defence, then they are not being co-operative.

There are circumstances when a person should reasonably be expected to recall their actions to an extent IE if there is footage of them on camera, signed statements, credit card/bank receipts, phone/internet records, medical records, etc.

Investigators will often ask Q's, get the stone wall, then present evidence, then ask the Q's again.

Exactly right, and you'd expect if ASADA had that evidence on hand the Graham would have ended up being much more cooperative by the end of the interview and we wouldn't see all future interviews cancelled by ASADA

If graham was just stonewalling them despite being shown evidence that they know he knows something then there would be no reason to cancel upcoming interviews with other players

Oh I knew someone would justify why one group refusing to cooperate makes them guilty, and another group refusing to cooperate is a good thing.

There was mountains of black and white, unquestionable proof that the storm players had multiple signed contracts and were being paid in vouchers, white goods and dodgy 3rd party payments.

How much of that was released before the final report? By the way, didn't the mountains of black and white evidence also show that Smith didn't sign the 2nd contract? So that therefore means he is not a cheat. Inglis probably hasn't ever even read a contract in his life, and the mountains of black and white evidence said that Slater probably wouldn't have known it was outside of the cap.

As such someone saying they didn't know those payments were dodgy comes across as either a complete moron who'd be incapable of lacing their own boots... Or a liar.

Or they trusted the advice of their managers.

The sharks on the other hand have as far as the public is aware next to no evidence of any wrong doing (ASADA certainly hasn't released any), so we can only assume innocence until proven guilty.

That is because it would be illegal to release it you dumb merkin.

That depends upon what was agreed upon regarding what constitutes cooperation. ASADA would unlikely have agreed to "I don't know" to every answer. It is obviously the view of ASADA that the player has not met the level of cooperation agree upon.

I'd say making yourself available when they ask and giving an answer to every question asked of you (baring in mind "I don't know" is a valid response) is about as much cooperation as anyone should be expected to give in these situations.
What was agreed upon would be very complex. I don't know/No comment is obviously not acceptable for every answer. For example if they are presented with phone taps and say dunno when they are bang to rights, then that would hardly constitute cooperation.

So the bulldog players turning up for police interviews dressed like they were going to the pub was ok.

And Graham dressed as a homie to an official interview with an anti-drug agency - as said great advert for the NRL.
Why do you know how he was dressed? How did the press find out? Why wasn't his privacy respected and a location set that nobody would know about?
