Massoud, Hooper and Wilson :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

That article is piss funny. Particularly like the paragraph having a dig at not spending the cash on junior development and bush footy. Newscorp continually ripped the cash out of the game with its tv deals in previous years and are responsible for the pitiful investment back into the grass roots of the game. f**k, grow up. You play with fire you get burnt. About time the Tele had it stuck to them. May it continue.

It would be a couple hours work at the most. I'm sure the nrl can afford the couple of grand or whatever they spent on it. Smith could afford to pay for it from his own pocket the money is so tiny in the scheme of things.

Chewbacca was at it on sports night on sky last night as well.

Saying the VFL had been acting responsibly but the NRL was in denial.

They also had John fahey on , who got stuck into the NRL for not responding to wade Graham's poor dress sense for the interview. That's the head of WADA taking time out to comment on poor dress FMD.

He was also critical of the NRL for allowing the players to have lawyers present at the interviews.

Lost a lot of respect for him.

Some rugby league players probably struggle in choosing the correct breakfast cereal without help. Of course they need a f**king lawyer present.

kinda fun watching the DT burn their bridges so spectacularly. Time for new blood in the Sydney NRL media; sick of seeing these hacks getting airtime on radio + TV as well.

Fahey seemed to presume every NRL player is guilty

WADA and ASDA are both a joke

i have no idea why he was praising the AFL based on a report done by one of they're supporters claiming they're innocent and also not one player has been interviewed

i'd say it's because a deal has been done

It seemed to me he was upset at the NRL for daring to question asada.

He just wanted them to roll over.

I submitted a comment on the fox sports website, it will get censored though. Here's what i wrote:

What a pathetic bunch of humans Massoud, Wilson and Hooper are.
Smear Jon Mannah's name as he's the only one not around to defend himself.

You say the NRL is wasting funds that could be spent on junior development, I say you are wasting oxygen that should be for people with dignity.

Fahey was a disgrace last night, Cronulla have already undertaken an internal review, had a clean sweep of their board, sacked multiple staff, allowed the NRL to assign upper management to their club and even suspended their head coach yet it's Essendon that is taking the matter seriously and not Cronulla.

Get f**ked Fahey.

Essendon tried to get the AFL to cover up the matter at first and got sprung, they are now trying the "we know nothing" defence and if this method fails watch the AFL throw the baby out with the bathwater and threaten to leave the WADA code if they aren't let off.

Get f**ked Fahey.

NRL hires private investigator to trace The Daily Telegraph's sources

The NRL has hired a private investigator - who is famous for hunting Afghani warlords - to trace The Daily Telegraph's sources.

Garry Sweet recently served in the most dangerous country on earth, diving head first into a lawless landscape of terrorism, bloodshed and drug trafficking.

But yesterday the private investigator and security guru was on the phone to three Daily Telegraph sports journalists in a bid to uncover their sources.

As part of the NRL's unwavering ambition to spend its new $1 billion broadcast deal on greater surveillance measures, the paramilitary has been engaged to find the leak of Cronulla's independent report. The NRL confirmed a private investigator was looking into the incident.

"We consulted with Cronulla and all parties agreed the leaking of privileged information is serious and all parties want to get to the bottom of any breaches of confidentiality," an NRL spokesman said.

Last week's court injunction appears to be of little comfort to NRL boss Dave Smith.Smith is desperate to identify whoever leaked the report that formed part of a legal advice, which was only recently handed over to Smith in abbreviated form.

It's a task Smith clearly believes worthy enough to exhaust funds that might otherwise nourish junior development or ailing bush clubs.

According to one of his peers in the private security and investigations sector, Sweet's services would be worth at least $300 an hour.

Self-described as "decorated" and "highly qualified", he boasts an impressive resume on the website of his firm, Australian National Security Investigations and Collections Pty Ltd.

Sweet worked in the Queensland police for 21 years, most of them as a senior detective cracking drug rings and teaching younger officers how to discharge firearms. But Sweet has left the best for last, taking charge of 1236 security personnel in war-torn Afghanistan over the past two years. But on this front at least, Sweet has been handed a difficult battle.

Journalists have about as much time for revealing sources as league supporters have for Smith's "E-squared" formula for fan engagement.Or as players and officials have for Smith's whistleblower unit, another reminder of the Orwellian regime the NRL is starting to resemble.

Whatever the amount, there's the same chance of it working as expecting journalists to expose their sources.

None.
I give that article the Garry Sweet seal of approval.

Exactly this.
And farkwits like Crazytiger continue on their cronulla hate crusade trying to imply its the Sharks that are hiding things.

exactly

yet John Fahey says the NRL are sweeping it under the carpet

how the f**k is getting a former ASADA employee to do a review sweeping it under the carpet?

he said the AFL acknowledged they had a problem

how is declaring your innocence acknowledging you have a problem? http://www.smh.com.au/afl/afl-news/bombers-confident-players-will-be-cleared-20130506-2j3ku.html

he also said that every leak that has come out has been from the NRL players

the bloke is on something seeing every single leak that has come out has been to the benefit of ASADA

the NRL and the RLPA should take legal action against John Fahey
