NSW: I think coach Ricky Stuart will employ defensive tactics and hit QLD in numbers with dominate defence (the 3 man gang hit or otherwise known as dominate tackles) a tactic which has proven so succesful for the Sydney Roosters the last 3 seasons also a move taken by Gus Gould for NSW in the 2003 Origin Series.
QLD: I think coach Michael Hagan will stick to the tradition of Queensland and will want a roll on in the forwards with quick play the balls, a good quick backline movement then a good kick and chase. This tactic will test the Queenslanders as the New South Welshman will be out to bash them and only time will tell if they can keep on copping the punishment.
