Good tough forward pack, a sound goal kicker in Fitzgibbon, with Wingy and Hornby off the bench to provide utility value and gamebreaking ability off the interchange bench. Big, strong outside backs and a fullback that is both defensively astute and offensively sensational

Not sure on Tate at winger yet, have to see how he plays in the weeks leading up. If not, then I'd have to go with Wesser or Schif. out of position, at least until Slater comes back. Also i don't actually think the selectors will go with Lockyer at fb, but imo that's where he's at his most dangerous. I've gone with Payne as starting hooker as I believe he is a more creative ball player than Cam Smith. After about 35 mins I'd throw Bowen into the fray to wreak havoc around the rucks, possibly at the expense of Payne, although the Bowen-Thurston-Payne combo is pretty lethal. Lastly if Tonga gets back to his 2004 form he could displace Bell at some stage in the series.

Ok side but I was less than impressed with Prince last time, so he is not in my side. Cameron Smith will NOT be a lock. He will be the no9 and it is just a question of whether he will play 80 minutes or whether you have payne on the bench.

Well my opinion is that Prince will go better this time around with other play makers around him like Lockyer, Thurston and Payne. If I remember rightly the last time he played origin was 2004, when Locky was out injured, and so Prince had a lot of pressure on him to do everything.

Not sure, wasn't Lockyer playing, I can't remember him missing a game in 04'. Thing is that Payne will not be the starting no9 and even I can see that. Smith is damn good and probally will be the next Australian no9. He can kick in play, defend like anything, and can goalkick. Then you need to ask whether it would be in Cam's best interest to have Payne on the bench. The answer to that is very debatable. I would say yes, but it could go either way.

Not sure about Parker really. In the end he is probally not in the two starting second-rowers. Its a question whether you want him or someone who is more versatile on the bench. Stagg can play hooker and in the centres remember, plus lock of course.
