im am in Perth for work this week and everybody in the office is talking about origin today, they were amazed. Never seen them talk about anything other then aussie rules before.

After the Pirates are brought in and Burswood is build, i wonder how an Origin game in Perth would go...

Time difference on a Wednesday would be a bit tricky, but you could just image the PR grab it would give the game.

Or maybe even a game in Adelaide.

Well 5:30pm on a Sunday night is 7:30pm EST

I'm not sure what the time frame for Burswood is now but if you played Origin in Perth the year prior to the Pirates being introduced you could sell combined Origin+Pirates memberships.

That's a quick way to get tens of thousands of new members 10 months before the Pirates even play...

Love the desperate rationalisations of jealous insecure Victorians the day after origin, it's always the same thing, apparently league players and fans don't really care about club football and would rather win origin then a grand final and that's why clubs let their players play and risk getting injuried. It's like if they keep telling themselves that it will soften the reality that they cant get close to it.

Im sure the WA government will be making sure the seats of the new WA stadium are able to be rolled in to suit rectangular sports such as NRL, RU and Soccer ...

Much the same as the NSW government was so accommodating with Oval config at ANZ

Really? Could have sworn I watched it!

There were 747,000 viewers in Brisbane, 426,000 in Melbourne and 86,000 in Adelaide. The game was not screened in Perth.
