Very few people in this thread want to deplete Origin. Calls for it to be better balanced in the modern NRL where the season proper is so much longer and more valuable aren't "sooking". Ratings aside this was the most boring Origin series in years dominated by Klein doing his best to ruin the spectacle - which if anything demonstrates people will still watch it.

It is not just three games. It’s a phenomenon that carries all before it for weeks on end. That’s why it rates so well. But you and your little sooky mates keep sooking away. It’s all you are good for.

Mate, I'm just trying to have a reasonable conversation. You're the one calling everyone who disagrees with you a sook and whatever other names. If you believe Origin is perfect, there's really no need to comment. If you don't, then you have about the same stance as I do. I'm just interested in whether there are ways to make changes that will benefit both Origin and the proper season

If you want to get into a name calling contest, I'm a lot more inventive than you.

Mate I’m just trying to make reasonable points about how strong our brand is and one of the biggest reasons is origin.
Mate I didn’t say the current version is perfect so mate stop putting words in my mouth.
And mate stop being a bloody sook.

And I didn't say you did, I posed a hypothetical. So congratulations, we both agree that Origin is a big advantage. I just believe it could be better integrated into the season to make that stronger, too. If you don't, then that's fine, but I don't see the need to carry on like a small child and constantly spray schoolyard insults about it.

The only person sooking here is you tbh. You seem to have a significant personal problem with someone not fully agreeing with you. Have a whiskey or a joint, chill the f**k out.

Eventually I hope rugby league scraps Origin and focuses on the growth of the international game with countries v countries, to overtake Yawnion as the real rugby that most people know. Make that a priority instead of putting so much promotion and effort into a rivalry between only two states that one state seems to care about more than the other.
