Unfortunately, this is the first year in a very long time that I've not seen one nominated film. I wouldn't mind watching all of them but would like to watch Arrival, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water and Lion in particular. I've heard nothing but good things about La La Land as well.

Is Gibson nominated for best director? I'd like to see him win just to watch people lose their minds!
