Going as expected. Chiefs in complete control.

Tua needs a big 2nd half I have seen enough in the past 4-5 weeks when the heat is on he isn't the man.

His season has got worse as its got deeper into it.

McDaniel play calls ain't much better.

Yeah. Defense has stood up pretty well all things considered. Had some calls go our way though.

Two average games today. Miami season really wasn't that great. Highest point was a win over Dallas. They just didn't beat anyone else of quality.
Kansas haven't impressed me today but they easily took care of Miami. I reckon they also left 10 points on the field. It was a blow out.

Another limp ending to a season for the Dolphins.

I'll call it a fail tbh. Sounds harsh considering they have made the playoffs 2 years in a row.

But the start they had to the year. Should have been a lot more.

They didn't fire a shot in past month when the heat and intensity of 3 crunch games in a row.

The Titans loss was a killer blow kept the door open for Bills to pounce.

McDaniel and Tua are under the pump next year after another late season fadeout where the offence offered SFA in big games.

Another limp ending to a season for the Dolphins.

I'll call it a fail tbh. Sounds harsh considering they have made the playoffs 2 years in a row.

But the start they had to the year. Should have been a lot more.

They didn't fire a shot in past month when the heat and intensity of 3 crunch games in a row.

The Titans loss was a killer blow kept the door open for Bills to pounce.

McDaniel and Tua are under the pump next year after another late season fadeout where the offence offered SFA in big games.

Definite fail. We exited the playoffs the way we went in - very limply. This is our window now and it doesn't stay open for long as we know. I think we need to keep Tua though or we're back to playing QB draft roulette. We can't give him Mahomes or Burrow money as he hasn't earned it and it basically screws us up. The black mark is his performance against playoff caliber teams. He hasn't delivered. Still he's in the top half of QB's in the league which gives us a chance.
Once again I've seen the Dolphins have a chance late season at the number 1 seed and totally blow it. We're gonna need a good draft this year.

Ain't gonna lie though, I'm a little jealous of the Texans with CJ Stroud. That was one impressive display. I'd be surprised if the Texans don't appear in the SB within the next 5 years. The are going to be loaded and are already ahead of schedule.

I remember the Bengals with Dalton. Always seemed to get to the play off's but where never a threat.
On QBs this side seems stacked with the best young talent.
Lamar,Mahomes,Allen,Stroud,Lawrence, Herbert, perhaps even include Deshaun Watson. That's 7 guys who have many years left.

What's on the other side?
Prescott, Goff, Hurts, Purdy, Justin Fields.
I don't think any of these guys have that high ceilings in comparison. Hurts has been very ordinary this season. Another season like this and he doesn't even get mentioned on the list as franchise QBs for the next 5yrs.

The only two older guys left now are Stafford and Rodgers. A real changing of the guards.
Brady,Manning,Bree's, Wilson Rotheilsperger, Rodgers where all genuine great quarterbacks. And you still had guys like Cam Newtown, Matt Ryan,Rivers,Stafford, Palmer, Cousins floating about who I'd put in the same category as equal or better then the current NFC guys I mentioned.

Tua limitations come to the fore in big games.

He isn't mobile enough you need a QB that is willing to run and be physical.

Unfortunately that may be a by-product of Tua's concussions.

It's probably why all these quick cross screen and heavy motion plays that do nothing against the big boys have been designed up.

He needs a few statement wins next year against some quality sides to change my mind. We are too low in the draft this year to go back there.

But after what I saw against 6-7 playoff teams this year was pretty underwhelming.

His last minute panicked interception last week against Buffalo summed him up atm when the pressure was on.

I feel Miami is the Gold Coast of America.

Having been there back in 2022 it certainly has a GC vibe.

A lot of ex pats up north move down to Florida to live so support is always strong for northern sides.

Similar to Titans where a lot of Sydney teams get more support up there due to ex pats then Titans.

Plus it's not like Miami have given the fans a lot incentive in past 2 decades they let us down everytime they think they have turned a corner. A bit like Parramatta when things are smooth there is always an implosion around the corner somewhere.

That’s a bs excuse. Buffalo didn’t make it to the playoffs for how long yet didn’t have a problem filing the stadium.

They’ll need to make a run before his rookie contract runs out. That guy is going to get paid when the time comes.
