Far from great. Was maybe 3-4 big offensive plays all game.So many dropped balls Most the big plays came from errors. Some forced errors yes. But overall not a whole lot of excitement in that one. At no point did a clutch play get made

That's your opinion which you are entitled to. I just happen not to agree.

It's quite funny people say anyone who doesn't like Newton is racist. His performance in the press conference is why people don't like him.

I personally have no issue with him and anything he does including the press conference but I can see why people think he's a dick.

Denvers d was great...But there was some awfull ref calls.
The 3 TD's where all just barge overs . A missed 41 yd field goal. Lots of dropped passes. Too many field goals that could of been td's.
NE vs denver had the same denver D yet IMO was a cleaner more exciting game of footy

Did the game ever reach great heights? at 16-10 and 5 mins to go when denver just did 3 runs including the one when it was 3rd and 8..... I mean what a negative play.

I'm not saying it was great either but it was entertaining enough and that was thanks to the defence both sides.

Watch both sides of the ball. Miller made two huge plays on Newton in the Panthers redzone that changed the game. Clutch plays that had to be made. And he made them.

Good defensive contest, result was in doubt right up until the TD with 3 mins to go.

Well done to Denver defence, didn't expect them to be able to front up for the whole game th form that Carolina had been in.

Maybe Hayne might see some playoff action next year...

They were look for any excuse to stitch him up. Yeah 3 fumbles in 6 games (two of which weren't directly his fault) isn't good by any standard, but they were almost happy that he had a stumbling start.
Who is "they"? Are you saying his own club (who decided to drop him) wanted to stitch him up...? :sarcasm:

Nah, for the most part, american fans, and the anti-hayne squad.. both here and overseas.

The team staff (except maybe the Special Teams Coordinator) have been really supportive of him, apparently he's really popular with the players, they love his positive attitude.

I quite enjoyed that game.
Not a razzle-dazzle type of game, but sometimes it's good to just watch two great defenses go at it.

Von Miller was superb! MVP easily. Such an awesome player.
Demarcus Ware and Aqib Talib were also excellent.

I was ok with Denver winning. Eli doesn't deserve to have more rings than Peyton anyway.

By the way, did anyone see when they showed Eli towards the end when it looked like the Brincos had sewn it up? He didn't look happy.

Maybe he was just nervous for his brother? He knows you never have a game tied up till the bell goes. At that stage, albeit small, Cam Newton still had a chance to deliver some magic.......

I'm sure he was very happy for him after the game.

Fair enough. If Hayne's good enough, he won't let any of that get to him.

If it gets to him, he has to just spent less time on twitter etc - or let his manager take over his social media so he doesn't have to deal with it.

Not surprising. Great way for him to go out, winning a SB.

Actually can't believe it took this long for him to announce it. Rumour has it that he wanted to play another year with LA Rams but they told him he'd have to compete for his spot with Case Keenum (now that's an American name if I've ever heard one).
