The jersey is alright but it doesn’t scream Australia. It’d make a good club jersey. Maybe I’m no good at marketing but it seems to me that if you have a team with 2 distinct and contrasting colours, such as green and gold, surely the smart thing is to have one predominantly green with some gold and the other gold with some green. Is it too obvious?

What’s exciting, and not just because these guys scored goals, but Bos (23), Circati (22), Irankunda (20), throw in Toure (22) and these guys are already currently our best. Shit can certainly happen but if they stay healthy and on track, there’s makings of decent teams in future. I like what I’ve seen of Herrington (18) too. Even Okon Jr potentially could be like his old man, not a superstar but was lock in centrefield that allowed team to play off him.

Great to see Bosnia beat Italy in penalties to qualify for the soccer world cup.

Sarajevo was one of favourites cities in Europe and the Bosnian people were so hospitable when i was there in 2023. We even found a irish pub to watch the ashes when the cricket was on.

Happy for the people there who have obivously been through a lot in the last 35-40 years to rebuild the country since the war in the 90s

It was a victory for just kicking normally on penalty shots.
Turkey will be tough. They have the better midfield. We may have them slightly on edges but I expect them to control the middle. They’re probably also generally quicker than us.
