Yep, the ACL is where it's all at - at least that's what we were told when WSW were playing ACL and their A-League season went to shit that same year.

And just quietly, WSW didn't contribute anything to Sydney FC's longest winless A-League run... apart from being Sydney's most recent A-League win!

Some mission accomplished there...

And Wanderers now back in 3rd plae, after Brisbane Roar's expected win vaults them back on top of the ladder.

But Melbourne City f**ked their chance to share top of the table and now sit in 4th. Their loss to Perth has kept the Glory in striking range of the Wanderers, which makes for an interesting final round to decide table placings.

Next weekend:
Melbourne City (4th, 44pts) v Adelaide (2nd, 46pts)
CC Mariners v Newcastle Jets - who cares...
Melbourne Victory (6th, 40pts) v Brisbane (1st, 47pts)
Wellington Phoenix (9th, 25pts) v WS Wanderers (3rd, 45pts)
Sydney FC (7th, 31pts) v Perth Glory (5th, 43pts)

Will the Wanderers hold on to 3rd place? A draw in New Zealand will leave them in big danger of missing out on ACL, but depending on other results prior to their match, they may even be playing for 1st place and the plate with a win .

COYW... :sarcasm:

Adelaide with the away win over Melbourne City to temporarily move to the top of the table, and Wanderers now cannot win the plate (1st place).

The Wanderers can make sure of 3rd place if they win over Wellington - and if Brisbane Roar lose or draw with Melbourne Victory then the Wanderers will finish 2nd, earn a week off and qualify for Asia?

The only team that can push Wanderers out of the top 3 is Perth Glory, if they win against Sydney FC and if the Wanderers lose or draw against Wellington Phoenix.

COYW...

The 0-0 draw between Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar mean that the Roar have given the Wanderers an opening to claim 2nd place on goal difference, provided the Wanderers can register a win over Wellington.

A Wanderers draw will leave them in 3rd place, while a Wanderers loss leaves them vulnerable to being leapfrogged by Perth Glory and finishing 4th, should the Glory register an away win against Sydney FC.

Wanderers' chance of cementing an immediate qualification for Asian Champions League is now entirely in their own hands... surely they won't choke aganst the team running 9th?

2-0 Wanderers win puts them in second place - a week off, and a home final. Plus confirming their qualifcation for next year's Asian Chamions League .

They're in the final four, and one winn will see them in the grand final. Well done Wanderers, didn't choke and finishing the season in style :thumn.

And wtf Sydney FC beating Perth Glory 4-0.... Sydney still alive in this year's ACL, along with Melbourne Victory who are still alive in the A-League finals.

Well I don't hear them big noting themselves but if you say they do then I believe you, you are obviously more in the know than I am about them. However suity you have always come across as a level headed genuine bloke until it comes to Sydney fc for some reason. If it rocks your boat though enjoy it I guess. As for manly, storm and the dogs I don't see you being derrogatory about them in posts

Be careful... you'll be accused of stalking next .

Thing I find funniest about WSW supporters having a go at Sydney FC is that heaps of Wanderers fans used to actually be Sydney FC fans (attending games, owning merchandise) before 2012. Talk about manufactured "hate"....
