 You just want your hero Elliot in the side, Langer won't be dropped for a while and he is part of one of the most successful opening partnerships of all time!

And Langer is out of form.

Elliott has just scored the highest amount of runs ever in a Aussie 1st class season, including 7 centuries. Langer, however, walks out and gets 3 runs off 39 balls! An Elliott/Hayden opening combo has the potential to be one of the greatest right now.

And I am eating my words RE Gilly, thank god.

2/82 Gilly on 46

Maybe, but I would expect him to dig a little deeper in times of need, he is batting at one of the most important positions in the order.

They are playing on a pretty tough pitch over there mate. Have you ever played on turf? It ain't easy the ball can do funny things. If he does go through the odd form slump, you know there is a big one just around the corner, much like this one!

I would say that this is indeed a time of need.

BTW Marto looks very good and he tonned up last test, you still wanna drop him?

He was on thin ice up 'till this test, we need another big one from him.

In fact we need these 2 to bat through to stumps so Punter has a chance tomorrow.

Any one see that cover drive off the back foot from Marto, it doesn't get any better.

Ohhh come on! He was having an absolute shocker with the bat! I'd be lenient if the rest of the team was batting well and we had a big todtal - but pissant totals like 220 and 120? Come on!
