Yeah I can’t see him landing another gig anywhere.

It’s a shame it ended this way, though. I was really looking forward to seeing him get the sack 😂

I don't know why any coach would want to take a job with Gus over seeing it. I like Gus but he is not to be trusted.

Barretts career is done. Crazy that the dogs got worse... They are on clean out number 3 or 4!
Can you imagine Flanno with Gus as boss, and Flanno Jnr at club, I could not see how that would work.
Paul Green at Dogs again that would be interesting call.
Ciraldo his first time in first grade, I bet Ivan will be giving him advice on what happened to him and Gus.
Our assistant Steve Price was mentioned.
Bulldogs have normally has more success when one of there own coaches them Hasler was hit and miss.
I don't think he would give up his fox role but Mick Ennis would be interesting

Couldn't be sacked then it would be Gus this way Gus will spin it more then a warnie flipper on why Trent stood down.
With it being something like for the good of the club and the players.

Barrett is a f**ken dumb coach, should never have been given the keys to that club..

Hopefully they go with someone experienced and legitimate instead of throwing another rookie or assistant in.. Ciraldo would be legitimately nuts to go there.

The way it's been done... Has that kinda sneaky Flanno stink to it imo.. goes on as a contracted 'consultant' at Dragons, Jnr is out of favour, then brought back in my Gould.. Gould gets his fingers in.. Barrett 'stands down'.. probably wrong but smells like a Gould/Flanagan underhanded political move to me!

No surprises here , i can't remember any game that a Barrett coached team played great , there must be one or two , but so few and far between they will be archived for posterity .
I do wonder what part some players may have played behind closed doors .

Bob will always be some players who would have been happy with him even when losing, could be he is soft at training, so it becomes a easy day at training, might never get dropped

My Aunty and I went to the Sharks v Bulldogs trial earlier this year. There was so much seating available that one person could have taken 10 seats.

Of course, these 8 Bulldogs supporters had to sit 4 in front and 4 behind. They were very mouthy and had a lot to say before kick off.

Thankfully, I think we were up 22-4 by halftime so they walked out 😂😂😂

Of course wanting the last laugh, I asked if there was a fire drill and if they had a spare spoon for my coffee.

So with that, I am very happy to see them wallow in the bowels of the NRL ladder.

Match made in heaven - dogs and Barrett.
As mentioned, just annoyed it didn’t go on longer with Barrett literally getting thrown out of Belmore.
Massive flog for a flog club - bring back Terry Lamb

I think you need to suggest a few more mate, not sure there's enough here.

It's time for Gould to bite the bullet and return to coaching, like he wants to.
It won’t happen he hasn’t got the players like he had in 88 with the Bulldog and 91 with the Riff, he was blessed with good players when he won the comp..

He's had some gun sides.

I think there is an opportunity to make something of that Doggies squad. A good coach would be better placed with a pre-season there though

So it seems the major sponsor unaware at dogs and the contract up end of season.
Dino should be touching base see if we can jag more money into the club

Good luck to the next bloke. Gus is ok if it’s going well, but if it’s not it couldn’t possibly be Gus’ fault and you are goooornski.
