Dot, don't be putting sh*t on the X-men!

Their fine body of work could spawn a hundred horse names....mostly because nobody on Earth would have heard it, let alone attempted to name equines from the lyrics!

The Slug
Best Lookin' Guy
Colour your answer blue
Everybody wants to work (no, no not me!!!)
Don't wake me

Or here's a classic X-Men tune title that EVERY Sharkies fan will relate to:

Still Waitin'
What was the ballad that Merrick and Rosso used to pull the piss out of on JJJ.
Something about a thousand years?????

LOL, that was '50 Years'.

"As we gather 'round the table,
Raise our champagne in the air,
It don't mean nothin'
It don't mean nothin...

Where will be be in...
...Fifty years?"

Funny story about the X-Men...

I was telling Dave Faulkner at a game last year how I used to really like the Gurus in my teenage years in the 80s. I mentioned also that I was into the X-Men when I was about 13, and he said:

"I f*ckin hated them"

...Hard to argue with a man of Dave's stature in Aussie music circles!

PEt sounds and aqueous seem to be going neck and neck at this stage.

I'm sending off the papers this week. At this stage it will depend on which one of those the registrar goes with. I like em both and thank everyone for their opinion !

Aqueous, meaning deriving from water is probably my fancy as it has a shark implication, is one word, and has a connection with the mother Fairwater.

Pet sounds is quality too and I won't be upset if that is the one the registrar gives here !

Relating to, similar to, containing, or dissolved in water; watery.
Geology. Formed from matter deposited by water, as certain sedimentary rocks.

Hey dot, I heard yesterday about how Makybe Diva was named.
They used 5 owners/wifes ( ladies) names and joined them together.

You should pick a few players names and join them up.

This could get interesting.

How about Stone Motherless?

Hopefully it wouldn't be an omen, but I reckon it would be cool to hear the caller saying "and Stone Motherless last"
